We have been called to faith and life
in Jesus Christ, the Son of God

You may be familiar with our building on Chicago Road, but we want you to discover the inside story about our congregation.

A part of the Thornton community and the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod since 1881. Our congregation was organized by some of the first settlers of this area. We are currently being served by Pastor Harold Wahl.

If you don’t already have a church home, we hope that you’ll take advantage of our ministry, because we want to get to know you.

We Believe…

·          The Bible to be the inspired Word of God.

·          Jesus, the Son of God, is a personal Savior, who has redeemed us from sin, death and hell.

·          Through faith in Jesus we have eternal life and heaven.

·          Through the word, baptism and the Lord’s Supper, the Holy Spirit creates and nourishes our faith.

·          Because Christ’s death and resurrection paid the penalty of our sins, we are His own and will join Him in His kingdom and that we should serve Him with our lives.
